Jim, Eric, or Whomever

I know there are a few people on this thread at least, who seem to be knowledgeable enough to answer or at least shed some light on the operation of Golden Eagles plant. I am completely in the dark myself and I imagine a lot of other shareholders would like to get educated also, as to how dirt goes in at one end and gold comes out of the other end. ( Well, I said I was in the dark, didn't I?)

Since this is a placer deposit, isn't the gold, once separated, pure gold? If so, why would it have to be assayed or whatever? Are there other minerals involved, (Silver)? In other words, once whatever it is that is getting separated comes out the other end, then what? If it is pure gold (nuggets, fine gold, etc. ) wouldn't it just have to be weighed to determine the gr. per ton? That's another question? How do they keep track of how many tons they are putting into the thing? For some reason I just don't see a counter on the front end keeping track. Do they just tally the number of dump loads? What about when they have the conveyer belt working? Where or when does the dirt get weighed? Sorry if all this seems trivial, but there are others besides myself I think who would like to give the Doug thing a break, and are really interested in the functioning of the plant from beginning to end. Please contribute anything you are knowledgeable about. Thanks

Keith
