Hi Paul, I've read his book and it's a novel way to look at consumer spending and makes a heck of a lot of sense. If he's right, then consumer spending will keep right on keeping on and this market will pull out of its funk soon to power through to a new bull that will last until 2008 or so. I believe that now is a good time to be buying. I'll keep dollar cost averaging in until we get a recovery. However, I don't think we'll see a recovery until the Iraq debacle and senate elections are over. I still think 2003 is going to be a growth year for the stock market, although it's hard to believe that right now. Anyway, Dent's update to that book is scheduled for release in December, I think.
