Hi Karen Lawrence; Re: "Lets see, we ended up with a "stalemate" between North and South Korea from way back in the mid-50s and North Korea is STILL menacing South Korea. NOT a success story."

Help me here. I'm trying to decide which of these alternative histories would have been the "success story":

(1) The US fights Communist China in North Korea for 20 extra years, killing millions.

(2) MacAurther nukes the Chinese, resulting in a world-wide war that kills nearly a billion.

(3) The US ceases support for Korea and the North takes over, resulting in twice as many people now starving under a backwards Communist regime.
