Exploration plans for the Headway project involving Kings Bay and Solitaire include the commencement of drilling at the Headway property, located approximately 1,200 metres from Goldcorp's high-grade zone, upon completion of the drill program at Garnet Lake. Goldcorp's Red Lake mine is claimed to host the richest gold orebody in the world. Goldcorp reported in Stockwatch on Sept. 6, 2002, that it had intercepted a zone hosting 10.8 ounces of gold per ton over 70 feet at a vertical depth of 6,850 feet. Except for world-renowned gold mining giant Placer Dome, Kings Bay, the operator of the projects, and partner Solitaire own the closest property to Goldcorp's high-grade zone.
