Ted, no, I am calling a spade a spade. The duplicity is killing me. The Saudis are somewhat better than Saddam but not by a lot. And yet we treat as one of our closest allies. There are obvious differences between Iraq and Saudi Arabia that make any comparisons difficult. In Iraq, we don't have a problem with individual Iraqis, but with their dictator / his government. In Saudi Arabia, it is some individual Saudis who are the problem to the US, not the Kings and their government. So, these different problems need different solutions. Joe
