no, I am calling a spade a spade. The duplicity is killing me. The Saudis are somewhat better than Saddam but not by a lot. And yet we treat as one of our closest allies.

There are obvious differences between Iraq and Saudi Arabia that make any comparisons difficult. In Iraq, we don't have a problem with individual Iraqis, but with their dictator / his government. In Saudi Arabia, it is some individual Saudis who are the problem to the US, not the Kings and their government.

So, these different problems need different solutions.
