There are obvious differences between Iraq and Saudi Arabia that make any comparisons difficult. In Iraq, we don't have a problem with individual Iraqis, but with their dictator / his government. In Saudi Arabia, it is some individual Saudis who are the problem to the US, not the Kings and their government.

What do you think is causing Saudi individuals to become a problem for us? bin Laden may be evil and an a-hole but there is a reason that one of the upper classes turns on his gov't. There is reason he is able to recruit so many Saudis to his cause.

By no measure do I condone his behavior nor his colleagues but its the Saudi repression that created these monsters with a religious twist. You can't see the results and ignore the cause. In fact, to ignore the cause, you do so at your won peril.

So, these different problems need different solutions.

These are not such different problems. And I continue to contend the lesser of the two problems is Saddam.
