Canada's may be 2x per capita, but 100x the collateral

I exaggerate perhaps
Canada has a trade surplus and no federal deficit
they have vast oilfields in Alberta and eastern Maritimes
they have scattered goldfields in the western provinces
their natural gasfields are staggering
and that is just energy and precmetals
then there is timber, base metals, hydropower (enough)

America cannot match them in any of the above
except perhaps in GulfMexico to some extent

if arrogance were tangible, America would find a way to securitize it, lend against it, and solve our national devt overnight, because that is our biggest asset
all talk about innovation has turned me sour
innovation became a financial obsession directed toward fraud, marketing, media deception, international duping
unfortunately, innovation in technology was subverted by financial excess, now seen as deflation coupled with debt collapse

we forget that the tech/telecom fraud had a partner: finance
now it their turn to collapse, with full justice
