Good Morning Brian,

This is a prime example of cost savings efficiencies.

Last week I attended a GM dealer meeting.Jack Smith was there and indicated GM was on the payoff side of major parts procurement systems that were enabling their current aggressiveness.

They are the largest manufacturer in the world and the savings are huge.

This will filter down to small companies (like Varian).

With top line growth absent - profits will grow by implementing broadband enabled web-based systems.

Cost reduction will be the next "Mantra".

And YES - it will require the purchase of many computers/servers and fill the now unpopulated telco cables.

It is a good thing that will happen.

Bob
