MARLBOROUGH, Mass. and MURRAY HILL, N.J., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Conversent Communications, an integrated communications provider, today announced it has signed an agreement valued at up to $35 million with Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - News) to expand its multi-service network throughout the Northeast. Under the three-year agreement, Conversent will employ a broad portfolio of Lucent products and services that will enhance and expand the company's state-of-the-art facilities-based network. Conversent currently provides advanced voice, data, video and high-speed Internet services to more than 30,000 business customers from Maine to New Jersey.
