The fundamental concept of god, is that god can do anything.

That is starting from the answer and working back. The real question is whether our universe is consistent with a place where anything goes, or for that matters what properties would it have to have to allow it to be consistent. This includes influences outside our universe with powers and physical laws different from our own.

To limit the scope it is convienient to consentrate on a limited range of powers. In this case, is the universe consistent with the ability to preserve a finite amount of information, in this case a goal, for the amount of time that the universe has been in existence. The proof is a sure as any.
