It is up to you to reconcile a wholesale snubbing of the UN during the bombing of Yugoslavia, which you approved, and your newly found demand that the UN approval is necessary for you to approve military action in Iraq.


Joe, you've said that before; however there are any number of UN Sec. Council resolutions that speak to the problems in Yugoslavia and the need to keep what they call a military stabilization force in the area. In fact a couple of the resolutions were prepared and submitted by the US and the UK.
