Gottfried,

I also have a Cable Modem and I'm using a Linksys router. (Mine isn't wireless though...)

I received a new Modem from ATT with instructions to load it witch included a comment about "Automatically re-configure your system".

Did you get a new modem?

Any problem installing it with the Linksys router?

I don't want to go through the pain of re-configuring one of my systems as they had set it up, do the "upgrade", determine the changes that need to be made to the Linksys configuration, then return my network to its current physical configuration.

Hopefully, there's an easier way...

Thanks in advance,

Ira
