too many people don't view this as something akin to the 1929 situation. Our bubble was huge, no way to we get away with a slap on the hand.

I really see the RE bubble as an extension of the credit bubble. So I would expect to see a pretty rapid follow on by RE after the credit bubble starts to implode.
