JF, you can't convince me that you don't know what a martyr is. You are playing games with me. For the sake of others, I will show why your post is either disingenuous or a reflection of your stupidity.

"And what did the terrorists sacrifice to kill 3000 people????"

The TERRORISTS (thanks for getting that right) sacrificed their lives. But a martyr is not someone who just sacrifices their life. They do it for "the sake of principal". Now I don't really doubt that the TERRORISTS who did this think of themselves as martyrs, and I do not doubt that their supporters think of them as martyrs. But people who view them as terrorists (which is what they were) DO NOT think of them as martyrs. I know that Ray Duray feels they are martyrs, and I know that you and seachre have stood up for Ray's position. But I will continue to counter that with my position that they were TERRORISTS.

Note that the meaning of terrorism is: "a systematic use of terror as a means of coercion". To me those are two different meanings. Do they mean the same thing to you? Your post indicates the words are interchangeable.

Now what do you think they were JF? Do you think they were TERRORISTS or do you think they were MARTYRS?
