I think they may become one. I do not think our interest are aligned. I would rather they did NOT become one. But in terms of our national interest what we are doing now seems rather stupid in the grand scheme of things. We are not planning 20 years out. We are not even planning 10 years out. I fear we may not even be planning one year out. I think we are just reacting (as a nation) I had the same complaint about Clinton's policies, or lack thereof. WHERE are the far sighted leaders? WHERE?????????
