There is a junction not far from our village where i have bought thirty-kilo bags of oranges for around four loonies, something like that, maybe less .... beautiful real oranges, their skins mostly green in colour, not injected with that chemical dye to make them look 'orange' .... lovely sweet juice, that's what we do with them, take them home and juice them on an ancient machine with a rotating head ... this happens at the peak of the crop, when they get that cheap, but they are never anything near what canadians would call 'expensive', and never would any of the young folk selling them consider passing on a fruit less than completely fresh and perfect in every way

And there's no shortage either - we could fill ships with the juice, park them here on the wet coast and run pipelines to our houses ..... see ya Flórida, wouldn't want to be ya, don't like the way you let your federales harass us
