stomper,

I have shopped at CHS for years. They have good quality products that are unique. I have things in my closet that I bought over 6 years ago and they still good to go and look good. They are not inexpensive and can charge a premium for their products. They are masters at selling as they move the goods between stores in local locations and in theory the product selection is larger relative to square feet of other retailers. For example they will move products between the 50th and France outlet and the Wayzata outlet and provide a larger selection to their customer than the floor space allows.

They purchase products from small "design" houses that purchase high quality material and are high quality construction producers in South America. They have some small houses where they purchase all the product they make.

They do not have sales - they just have a few sale items that have been in inventory that do not sell and that group of products is very small.

When this stock gets cheap - it is a buy. A good stock to buy during recessions when it gets sold off.

Joan
