When I was in school, ND played every school in the Big 10, and they very seldom went outside. They WERE a part of the big 10. I don't remember when they started to play more teams outside, but it seems like when they did, they were televised more, and all of a sudden obtained a stature they didn't have before.
The big 10 needs to get with it, and get a good passing game..mule team football just doesn't get it any more!
