Ever since the Bush administration ordered the CIA to nurture the exiled Iraqis, nothing happens to them by accident. Prince Hassan didn't just happen to drop in because he was in town. The Hashemite dynasty has never given up its dream to revive the Iraqi throne. It could be a great job for Hassan, whose older brother denied him the Jordanian kingdom at the last minute.

Bingo!!.. One more piece to the puzzle coming into place.

Prince Hassan has consistently been an "issue" in the Hashemite family since he was definitely intriguing to assume the throne after King Hussein died.

I'm not sure exactly how it will come in effect, but it provides a framework for government that the Iraqi people can understand; one that is moderate; one that preserves Arab pride; and MORE IMPORTANTLY, one that gives the Hashemites something they've never had before, ownership of tremendous oil wealth that rivals Saudi Arabia.

That means that the Hashemites and Saudis will not be contending for predominance over the Arab world.

Glad to know that my suspicions about bringing the Hashemites back might be more than just a lucky guess on my part... hehe

But will it end there, or will the Americans be willing to support the Hashemite dream of regaining the Hijaz and restoring the Caliphate.. a moderate Caliphate that reshapes and order Arab society in a form that might be conducive to an Arab republic.

Stay tuned...
