Cash, RE: TKR share of 61 drilling costs

My understanding is that wrt Project 61 and the jv with NDT, Takla does not have to pay any of the drilling costs. This is consistent with TKR's pattern of getting other jv partners to spend the big bucks drilling their properties.

Very little of the 10+million of cash on hand is spoken for in way of current year drilling plans, etc. TKR is well positioned to wait out this bear junior mkt. The interest and investment income covers a good portion of the G&A expenses burned each month.

Of course, it's always good to check with the company to confirm current cash position, monthly burn rate, etc.

Yes, Takla is one of many cash rich exploration companies trading ever closer to their cash value. Currently 0.80 or so of the 1.25 share price is net working capital per share (mostly cash).

This is very attractive in the long term but who knows how many months until Takla starts more aggressive exploration of their SAmer properties and/or the junior exploration mkts rebound.

Good luck
