It would be a mistake to dismiss Huawei as a CSCO competitor. Huawei has a good presence in Latin America as well as throughout Asia and the Mideast. They recently opened offices in Silicon Valley as well. Pricing is just one area that Huawei has an advantage. And certainly in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Huawei will have the home court advantage. Where they have holes in their product line, they are partnering with CSCO competitors.

My experience is that they are not overly innovative, so CSCO should maintain an edge, but there is no question that they can eat into a fairly substantial portion of CSCO's lunch.
