Socialism in Europe. From what I understand, this issue is not about the taxes paid on tips (these guys were on minimum wage so almost zero tax), this is about restaurants reducing waiters wages so that, when the tips were added, the wage packet was the minimum wage. Disgraceful I think. Tips are typically half that of the USA too. news.bbc.co.uk Justice gone astray. I don't think anyone pays a tip to go to the owners. That is all in the menu price.
