Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., and Rep. David Bonior, D-Mich.. are on TV right now, blaming America's policy for misery in Iraq.
I guess, in their "wisdom", Saddam Hussein's spending billions on palaces, billions on chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, and on terrorist activities, have nothing to do with the Iraqi people's misery, and lack of funds.
They believe that a lifting of the embargo against Iraq, would result in Saddam Hussein wanting to provide more funds for his own people, and not on his war machine. |
