harlan, i think for buying and i have bought and sold the calls from 7 1/2 for income to 12.5 for income and appreciation. now the more important question "Biotech co. that made a very interesting move was NXCO. You might want to pull up a graph. The stock went up before the announcement of the blind study, way up the day of the announcement, and then a huge selloff." no one should discount this possibility. it happens all the time for whatever purpose, (momentum players moving stock up then selling on good news and possible shorting to the company purposely putting forth a drug which they know has little chance of success just for the purpose of raising money with private investors.) who knows?? i look for patterns and try to put the puzzle together, talk to the company, research fundamentals, read board for info, risk/reward analysis, then i look at the options and follow the activity. all this and i am lucky only about 69%. so to answer your question i have bought and sold covered calls on xxxx shares bringing the cost basis down to 6.85/share, thats my stradegy, and i am betting phase iii will produce good news. todays activity suggest more buying but will not be able to verify until after 7 tonight. a big drop occured today btw 13:41 and 15:27 from 9 11/16 to 9 on very hardly no activity. if we had big selling volume driving it down then i would have suspected our old buddies were playing again. this was not the case. tomorrow is another important day with ag's apprearence before congress so i am going to be very interested in price action. ps: i did end up buying today again whooo boy!!!
