Paul, They (those folks who don't look at fund balance until statement)...those folks ARE DEFINENTLY out there....hard for us daily market weirdo types to recognize (g), but there are actually folks out there who live their lives and don't care about the market obsessively..(not necessarily a prudent stategy, but that's what THEY do) Some friends of mine who I use as a contrary indicator just cashed out, and are buying real estate to rent (they are somewhat smart, focusing on low-end, but I'm thinking we are timewise within a month of a good bounce all around)...every average Joe I know who got killed in market believes real estate is cant miss (kindof like Csco in early 2000)
