I believe it was Jim Baker who answered Ted's question in that 5 minute phone call... and explained 'why' the U.S. Government wasn't about to come up with that money in time to rescue the nuclear material. I would have liked to have heard that 'reason'. It was never reported. PS - Baker also told Ted that the money wouldn't be tax deductible... LOL :(
