Nexen Inc. Shuts-In Gulf of Mexico Production Due To Storm CALGARY, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - Nexen Inc. (NYSE and TSX: NXY) announces that it has shut-in its Gulf of Mexico production, due to deteriorating weather conditions from Hurricane Lili. All Nexen personnel and associated contract employees have been evacuated. Nexen will return to full operations as soon as it is safe to do so.
