A lot people don't know the difference between what they need and what they want. I think too many people watch the commercials and feel their lives are sub-standard if they don't have the better part of what is cast upon the screen. Something I've noticed over the years, is that the cheaper foods in the grocery store are the best for you.
I like the way the old cowboy philosopher Will Rogers put it,
" There are too many people spending money they don't have, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like."
He was living in one of the best countries to make that observation. His quote couldn't be a more true then right now. Just take a look at the US debt level.
