For a company losing it as fast as AMD is, they probably are not capable of salvaging their scalp. They should immediately lay of more people and ask the rest to take pay cuts. Many would bolt thinking they can get a higher wage somewhere else. The disadvantage of being on the forefront of contraction. Intel can hold on a lot longer. They probably won't have to deal with the immediate problems AMD has for a couple more quarters. So, would you take a pay cut? Jim
