David, politics by polls, as usual. If the Democrats originally supported a corrupt loser like the Torch, why should voters trust them to pick someone better?

It's like in Hawaii, where the Democrats are urging voters to vote for a dead candidate. In this case, like in NJ, the Democrats will pick a puppet who does nothing but vote the party line. There is no room for independent thought, and the Democrats don't want any.

Partisan politics like this is what's crippling America. And the idiot justices who allowed the NJ switcheroo are specifically endorsing this sort of partisanship:

"It is in the public interest and the general interest of the election laws to preserve the two-party system and to submit to the electorate ballot bearing the names of candidates of both major political parties as well as of all qualifying parties and groups," the court ruled in a unanimous decision.

I'm sorry, but that's bull. George Washington warned against party politics, but here we are now, doing exactly what he warned against.
