Too, damm good...to the point I feel frustrated.
I sold some land that I bought 16 years ago, 4 years ago in 1998 for 10 times what I paid for it. Put it in the stock market during the 98 dip, and made 4 or 5 times more. before I pulled away in October 1999, when the pigs were flying. But I couldn't stay all the way out because of the greed factor.
And I lost, but no where's near what I'd gained.
I bought my grandpas' business...it was touch-n-go and stretched me to my limit financially. As my little brother put me in an Enron with his schinigans. I made the corporation all whole, and customers whole with my stock gain money.
I struggled.
Then I lock leveled and loaded on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan....in the process I made my neighbor a millionare with my idea and his work.
Then the towelheads knoced down them skyscrapers.
I went out last year and bought a Yukon and PT Cruiser, then this spring, summer and fall I spent in excess of $100,000 on the house., and I just went out and bought my 12 year old duaghter and 11 year old son thier first car. A 2000 GMC STL 4x4 sierra, tricked out. Fire Engine Red, to be parked in the 3rd Red Barn with a Green Roof with White Trim I've put up in 11 years till they can drive. Cept this barn is full Gamberal (sp) with a copper cupula (sp) and a fricken black chicken on top to put Mama's 38 cent goats in.
Tomorrow, I'm going to the John Deere dealer to get an estimate on trading in my 970 FWD Tractor and upgrading to a 4410, trading in and selling the 970 to my neighbor via the dealer and picking up a Vermeer Tree Spade to go with it.
Got a landscaper figuring out 2 and 1/2 acres of land-scape, sprinkling systems, a snowmobile from the neighbor kid.
I'm doing the economic thing. I'm turning money....keeping
jobs.
I walked into a room today in blue jeans, a short sleve shirt, they were having a meeting...and a guy said after I interrupted, "thanks for saving my ass". I responded, "hey, that's me mister ass saver".
Heart-felt now...the guy came down on me and said, "you have an arua (sp) around you." "Yea a Haylow (sp) around my head", I responed. And the guy came right back and said if it wasn't for you, I'd be shit.
