Carl, when the communists took over in North VietNam, they did what communists did everywhere when they took over. They killed tens of thousands, they imprisoned hundreds of thousands, they established a totalitarian regime.

We were the good guys. We had zero to gain from that war, just as we had zero to gain from Korea. No oil, no gold, no power, no glory, no domination. Just doing the right thing, or trying to.
