Right twice a day... LOL!!!

But I think the Hashemite solution is probably one of the more "high speed, low drag" solutions that could be rapidly implemented and receive general acceptance by Iraqis.

And it offers the potential benefits of providing a buffer/base against Saudi Wahhabism, while "seemingly" offering the benefits of moderate rule with room for gradually implementing democratic reforms.

And most of all, it could provide the solution that many have suggested would solve the Palestinian problem, turning Jordan into a viable Palestinian homeland with the Hashemite throne moving to Baghdad (and possibly one day, back to the Hijaz in Arabia).
