I am very happy living in a real monarchy where the Prince has near-absolute power, unlike UK's soi-disant monarchy. Believe it or not, we are not enslaved. There are no economic problems, neither are there any political problems. There is no crime. To top it with creme, there is 320 days of sunshine per year and the beaches are great :)

Wanna see how happy we are? Come down to Monte-Carlo (Monaco) one day. Or read about it. Or watch it in the next Formula 1 race next year.

Not that I am defending monarchy over democracy as a system. Just making the points that:
1) People CAN live happily under a monarchy
2) Your sarcasm ("Enslaved people are always happy", "Happy, hungry Cubans") is rather shallow
