Well, an educational obligation, yes. If, that is, you allow other groups to march. If you ban all marches, then all are treated equally. But if you allow some to march, I think it is an educational obligation to allow all to march, as long as they do so within reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions that are applicable to all groups.
I think it is educationallly dishonest to deny students the right to make up their own minds, to deny access to information on all sides of an issue. If there are Black Pride and Gay Pride marches permitted, there must, IMO, be a White Pride march permitted. Otherwise, what is the point of claiming to create an educated person? That's not education, it's indoctrination, which is a very, very different thing. |
