one will always
base moral notions on social expectations that one has learned, and these expectations
will always define a minimum of acceptable behavior.

Well, one of the social expectations that I learned is that it's bullying to pick on someone weaker than yourself, and bullying is bad.

So I have no interest in bullying Saddam Hussein.

But now you encourage me to adopt some other social expectation, though I'm not sure which one, or where it comes from, or why it is superior to my non-bullying social expectation. Very confusing.
