On what basis, other than a desire to scream "It's the END OF THE WORLD!", can you freaks actually believe that either private or public debt "Has to be paid back"? It NEVER has been-despite all kinds of good and bad times. It NEVER will be-because the concept is patently ABSURD. The DANGER to our economy today is DEFLATION, not debt. And DEFLATION is the result of massive, excessive, and mis-directed taxation. It is a manifestation of complete economic IGNORANCE to propose that debt "has to be paid back". That is contrary to both history and the natural laws that drive economic activity. Try to be a little more serious about the discussion...
