Some Leading Tech Stocks have been HAMMERED...here's the change in the closing price from January 2, 2001 to yesterday's closing price: SUNW ($25.44 to $2.57): -89% (LOSS) EMC ($54.31 to $4.88): -91% (LOSS) CSCO ($33.31 to $10.05): -69% (LOSS) ORCL ($26.37 to $8.31): -68% (LOSS) NTAP ($51.44 to $7.03): -86% (LOSS). IMHO, the 'buy and hold' philosophy will be history soon...It's a trader's market and A LOT of damage has been done. regards, -Scott btw, I agree with you about 'The Broadband Subsidy' -- I think an intelligent and targeted one could do MUCH MORE for economy than the wonderful tax cuts that we've all started to receive...=)
