I'm glad I missed it. He lit a small fire downhill from the gas pumps and turned on both pumps. He was smoking a joint and watching the conflagration when they grabbed him. He thought if he screwed up badly enough they'd boot him out of the army. I bet he's still in Mannheim making little rocks out of big ones.
