DemiVision Technology Extends JAMDAT Platform To Include Near Real-Time Multiplayer Gaming For Next-Generation Wireless Phones
LOS ANGELES, CA -- (INTERNET WIRE) -- 10/03/2002 -- JAMDAT Mobile Inc., a leading publisher of entertainment applications and provider of enabling technologies for wireless, announced today that it has acquired the wireless gaming technology of DemiVision LLC, a wireless technology company located in Huntington Beach, CA. As a result of the acquisition, JAMDAT gains exclusive access to DemiVision’s unique wireless multiplayer gaming technology for developing and hosting interactive, client-server based wireless games.
