Lately there are some fear Intel's effort in the 802.11 space might be a threat to Intersil in the future. This does not seem to make sense since Intel does not have the expertise or history of producing wireless analog chips. Could someone comment? Put the question another way, could someone comment on the current competitive landscape for these chips (802.11a and 802.11b)? How are each of the makers of these chips doing? Thanks in advance.
