This reminds one that Queen Victoria was so impressed with the bearing and stature of the poor Maori Chieftain presented to her in the 1880s that she gifted him 50 repeating rifles to improve his lot on his return to New Zealand. When he got home what did he do with them but slaughter all his traditional enemies (and many who weren't). Take away his suit and tie and fancy foreign ministers and what have we got - a crafty and vicious desert warrior. Saddam is a savage. He must be treated in kind and with a show of superior force at least. Otherwise his schemes will unleash God knows what on the world. He will ultimately respect force which is his nature. Our bleeding heart politicos just don't get it. Angler
