When the carrier groups deploy, imo, the big show begins. Imo this will speak volumes wrt timing. Be interesting to see if some carrier groups come through Suez. If they do, then Mubarak has signed on and they will signal to Saddam that his political battle to line up Arab support has been lost. I think he already knows it has been, and is doing everything he can to secure his WMD.

In chapter 6 of Pollacks new book he confirms that the leadership of many Arab countries speak "poison with two tongues" concerning the removal of Saddam. He also explains why. I left the book at work where I read it on breaks sometimes. I'll be providing some detailed quotes from the book on this matter, probably tomorrow. There are some real stunners! ;o}
