Yes those descending wedges can be bullish, but not if the bottom keeps dropping out, and the descending support line has to keep being adjusted down, over and over again.

The DOW wedge just keeps getting steeper, and steeper...

We have seen the bottom of them fall out - totally, many times over the past few months.

May be some short covering into the close, as it is a Friday after a down week, but a rally that lasts more than 10 minutes, I highly doubt.
