wait a minute
teachers need to call behavior into question when it interferes with the learning process- because teachers are there to teach. But absent harm to the learning process, I'm not sure teachers should be handing out morality judgments on behavior. Parents can be picky for their own reasons, and can impose their desires on their children for no reason other than desire, but I do not believe teachers have the right to expect such liberty with other people's children. JMO
