Richard Pell of Julius Baer just shot holes in the idea circulating that we are at the 74 pattern bottom(he was asked directly to address that question).
He politely said we at Baer's think 600 on SPX is more likely.
But this is the goody. "We see the forecasters giving earning estimates for the SPX for 2003 to be 60 dollars , we think south of 40 more likely."(not verbatim) Whew.Max
