Charles: AMD looks like it's settled into a trading range here. I was disappointed that it went down a little since the market is greatly improved today and most of my other stocks went up; this one posted the worst loss in my portfolio today. Still, it does look like it's has some buying when it gets down around 11 so hopefully that'll hold for now and then AMD will have to prove it can do better by the next quarter or else it'll probably go down some more. The local telcos are posting great earnings: AIT, BEL, PAC, SBC have all come out with great earnings and analysts are upgrading them while downgrading MCI and T. I think the spectre of competition along with the netphones is worrying some analysts about the LD companies eroding LD share.
