Isn't This How They Tortured People In Salem?

Just remembered a scene from the movie they
made of Arthur Miller's the Crucible, where
they kept piling stone weights on this guy's
chest to get him to confess and renounce the
devil. I guess anyone who is long this market
is the guy on the table with the weights on top
of him. Today, he said: "I'll have another!"
