Oh Tiger, you are so gullible. Israel is the perfect illustration of your point! The Jews have been underdogs ever since Moses, yet they persevered and prospered. The empires that imprisoned them have all fallen! Granted, the threatening the mother of all battles and the slaying of thousands of Americans is not my idea of speaking softly either. On the other hand, asking to please let the inspectors back in without restrictions is a perfect example of speaking softly. I like simple ideas that solve complex problems. Like "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!" And the wall came tumbling down. I don't see how you can categorize the unilateral threats as speaking softly.
