The brigade, which fought in the 1991 Gulf War, is armed with Challenger 2 tanks. This surprises me, Pearly, because everything I have read said we really don't need more tanks, and the US is not too happy with the Challenger 2's anyway. Special Forces/Infantry is needed more. I suspect that the Brit Generals want to take the heavy stuff for prestige reasons. lindybill@rideinstyle.com
